CRISTOL™ offers low / medium molecular weight, liquid advanced polymers effective as coagulant and flocculant aids.

CRISTOL™ coagulants are liquid catonic polyelectrolytes that are effective as a primary coagulant, coagulant aid, filtration aid or as a
flocculant aid. They increase the efficiency of settling, clarification, filtration and centrifugation operations.

These coagulants are recommended for:

  • Demulsification – demusifies oily waste waters & emulsions
  • Thickening of concentrates, settling of fines, water recycling in Mining operations.
  • Sludge Treatment – Municipal Sewage
  • Water clarification – for improved water quality by reducing suspended solids and turbidity.
  • Gravity Settling – improves floc formation yielding faster settling rates.
  • Filtration – improves filtered water quality.

This chemical substantially reduces the consumption of alum and other organic coagulants. It is effective with chlorinated waters & is immediately soluble at all concentrations.

Coagulants are normally applied as a dilute solution. Dosage is suggested depending on the application condition.

It is packaged and shipped in 50, 100, & 200 kg drums. We also deliver in bulk.

Coagulants / Deoilers / Polyelectrolytes

CRISTOL coagulants are medium molecular weight polyelectrolytes that are effective as a primary coagulant, coagulant aid, filtration aid or as a flocculant aid. They are used to increase the efficiency of settling, clarification, filtration, and centrifugation operations. Using coagulants in addition to or instead of inorganic chemical treatment methods, result in better de-oiling efficiency and efficient sludge management.

Flocculants

CRISTOL Organic Flocculant accelerates reactions producing denser floc and thereby reducing the requirement of primary coagulant. It will cause small floc particles to agglomerate rapidly into larger particles, leading to more cohesive floc, which settles rapidly, leaving a clear effluent.

Dispersants

CRISTOL range of specialty polycarboxylates available as dispersants, that reduce bulk viscosity of higher solid content slurries and maintain stability of finely divided particles dispersion in the liquid matrix. This is done by enhancing similar charge repulsion.

Scale Inhibitors

CRISTOL Scales are basically inorganic salts of minerals that can deposit on various operating surfaces in several areas during effluent water treatment operation e.g. inside water pipes, anaerobic digesters, dewatering heaters etc. TM TM CRISTOL Antiscalants, often used in conjunction with CRISTOL Dispersants, inhibit scale formation by interfering with the growth of scaling salt crystals in the water phase from its unit crystals through stearic hindrance.

Biocide

CRISTOL Biocides are used to decontaminate the waste water from Bacteria / Microbes which are normally present in abundance in industrial waste water, being processed in Waste Water Treatment Plant [WWTP]. Such use of TM Biocides, help in the reduction of Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) of the treated waste water. CRISTOL offers a range of Non-Oxidizing Biocide for WWTP.

Antifoaming Agents

CRISTOL defoamers provide good de-aeration and efficient foam suppression over a wide range of pH and temperatures, leaving no residual material in the system. These defoamers do not contribute to VOC in the system.

Corrosion Inhibitors & Lubricity Enhancer Additives (For finished fuels)

These additives are effective in providing corrosion protection to pipelines, tanks and equipments to transport and store gasoline, diesel, ethanol, heating oils and Aviation fuels. These, also help in providing lubricity enhancement to all finished fuels including jet fuels.

Cetane Improvers

These additives are used to substantially increase the diesel Cetane number. These additives improve the ignition performance and also reduce diesel vehicle emission.
